PlayStation 4’s latest system software update, v3.10, gives players the opportunity to follow developers and other well-known industry folk that have been officially verified by Sony’s PlayStation Team. Fancy finding out what Trophy Shuhei Yoshida or Mark Cerny recently notched up? Well, thanks to update 3.10, you can now do that and much, much more.
Still, there’s a bit of confusion among PS4 owners regarding this feature: who is available to follow? And more importantly, how do you follow a developer? Fortunately, we’re here to help, so read on to find out more about adding verified accounts on your PS4.

How do I follow someone?
It’s not as hard as you think. First of all, you need to know the username of the individual you wish to follow (you’ll find a list below), so once you have this, head over to ‘Friends’ and select the ‘Search’ function. Next, enter the username of the person you wish to follow, and their profile should pop up, allowing you to click it and select ‘Follow.’ That’s it! Not only will you be able to follow someone on the PlayStation team, but you’ll be able to view their activities via the ‘What’s New’ panel.
Who is available to follow?
There’s a whole bunch of officially verified developer accounts you can follow if you wish. Apart from Sony’s core PlayStation team, there’s also numerous individuals available to follow who work for Sony’s first-party studios, as well as some third-party developers to boot. Check out a list below, courtesy of Reddit.
