Koei Tecmo and Electronic Arts‘ new hunting title, Wild Hearts, will reportedly launch in early 2023 according to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb.
The journalist claimed that Wild Hearts is the mysterious “partner title” that EA has listed for an early 2023 release in its most recent quarterly earnings calls. The game is set to receive its debut trailer later today, so there’s a chance we may get a proper release date then.
Yosuke Hayashi, Executive VP at Koei Tecmo, had the following to say during the game’s announcement:
It’s an honour to be partnering with EA Originals and to have the support of a team with such an incredible track record of releasing ground-breaking new games. The EA team fully embraces our creative independence and have become invaluable partners offering both development and publishing support.
Adding the global resources of EA with our own will help us introduce a new kind of hunting game to a global audience of players and expand our reach into global markets. I’m really looking forward to the day that gamers from around the world can play this new game.
