VGTech has put Immortals Fenyx Rising on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through its paces, and the results show that both versions run solidly, although the edition on Sony’s new console has a slightly advantage in terms of 4K resolution.
Immortals Fenyx Rising Has Locked 4K Resolution On PS5
The Ubisoft fantasy title features two modes prioritising quality and performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The former features a (seemingly locked) 4K resolution at 30 FPS on both consoles, while the performance mode includes dynamic 4K resolution that drops to as low as 1080p on Microsoft’s console but does not falter as much on PS5.

This results in a much higher average 4K resolution for the game;’s performance mode and a locked 4K resolution in quality mode. It definitely seems that way at least, as the VGTech report did not record any resolution drops on the PS5 version in this mode.
