Ascendant Studios has revealed it is looking into bringing Immortals of Aveum to PlayStation Plus, and is actively talking to Sony (as well as Microsoft regarding Game Pass) in hope of securing the game a release on the subscription service.
Speaking with Windows Central, Bret Robbins, CEO of Ascendant Studios, said that he is “pretty sure” that a PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass release will happen at some point, although there’s no date in mind yet.
Certainly, those services give you a wider funnel. More people might engage with the game, that’s always good. We are talking to [Sony and Microsoft] about getting the game onto both of those services. We don’t have a date yet, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna happen, though.
Last week, Ascendant Studios released Immortals of Aveum’s Echollector update, which includes a bunch of new content including a New Game Plus mode and the Magnus difficulty setting.
