In-game entertainment in GTA 4: Let’s have fun!

While Niko roams the streets of Liberty City and Alderney, sometimes hell breaks loose. The gamers certainly have fun with it, but the protagonist has to suffer a lot. All the better for him is that he can distract himself and relax in between. Okay, at least a little bit.

1. Visit the Alderney Entertainment Center

We present four ways to get Niko out of the constant action and give him some pleasure. One is to visit the Alderney Casino and sink into casino dreams there. More than dreaming is unfortunately not possible, because, as you surely know, this casino is a permanent construction site.

However, you can get a glimpse of the glamour that will ensue when the casino finally shines in new splendor. The staircase leads up to the roof and behind the casino is a pier, where perhaps one day an expensive yacht will dock to play poker tournaments on its deck.

Unfortunately, in two missions this place “only” serves as a shooting scene, card games or roulette rounds never take place. So, everything is left to your and Niko’s imagination. If you really want to have fun in the digital world, you have to look elsewhere for casino software providers in New Zealand.

The platform Vegas Slots Online offers this opportunity. It offers its user the chance to find their personal virtual casino in the fastest way possible. For this purpose, it provides a lot of clearly arranged information on numerous reputable providers. Niko himself can’t leave GTA, you can only mentally take him with you into the world outside.

2. Relax in a Burger Store

The protagonist finds another kind of distraction in one of the many burger stores in the two cities, which also ensures that he does not starve. Food is essential for survival in GTA IV, just like in the real world. In this case, however, there’s always a bit of amusement involved when it’s off to the burger joint.

The slogan “Kill your hunger” alone is a pleasure in itself, not to mention the disreputable brand name Burger Shot. Overall, the interior is very reminiscent of a well-known fast-food chain, but the lettering makes them seem a bit satirical.

People squat at the tables and you can even get a close look at the burger grills and fryers: An appetizing break for Niko who is probably happy to have access to his feeding trough day and night, even though health popes would howl about it.

3. Strolling through a car dealership

Cars play an important role in GTA, but they have to look cool and be fast to be of interest. Visit the Grotti car dealership at the intersection of Bismarck Avenue and Pyrite Street, which is on the same street corner as the Perseus clothing store. Unlike the casino, the dealership is active.

So, Niko can not only enter the store but also browse real “products”. The sales area extends over two floors and has eight snappy Turismos up its sleeve. Did you know that the design of these sports cars is based on the Ferrari F40? So, the words “cool” and “fast” really apply.

You can steal a car, then the alarm goes off and you get a 1-star wanted level in return. But, believe it or not, stealing isn’t mandatory in GTA. You can alternatively just stroll around, up and down the spiral staircase, and purely enjoy the nice vehicles.

The car dealership opens between 12 and 21 o’clock. By the way, if you follow the impulse and grab a Turismo after receiving a carjacking text message from Stevie, the garage will give you $11,000 for that catch. So, you don’t have to be permanently restrained.

4. Quality time with Michelle

Niko’s girlfriend Michelle stands firmly by his side, all the way. The protagonist even has intimate moments with her at least once in GTA, but you only hear the sounds of it. There is nothing to see, everything is just pure fantasy.

Overall, GTA is rather prudish, despite numerous hints. In limited red-light areas, prostitutes can be found between 8 o’clock in the evening and 5 o’clock in the morning. And then, of course, there is the “real” love between Roman and Mallorie, who eventually even want to get married. At this point, it seems guaranteed that the “wedding night” already lies behind them.
