One moment a title is unknown and mysterious, and the next it’s inFamous (insert satisfied smile at un-clever pun here).
To clarify, inFamous is set to be known. Very known in fact, as SCEA plans to promote this game to no end with a multimillion dollar marketing campaign. The different forms of promotion include "aggressive television, print, online and viral advertising campaigns, full promotional support, dedicated point-of-purchase displays and merchandising support," according to a Sony press release.
It’s a surprising move for a new IP, but Sony seems to have faith in Sucker Punch’s ability to produce a great game. Judging from some of the game’s recent media, we feel they made the right choice.
