Capcom has announced a May 28 release date for Street Fighter 6‘s latest DLC character, Ingrid, who will be available for those who own the Year 3 Character Pass or the Year 3 Ultimate Pass.
Ingrid packing a range of powerful techniques, such as Sun Crests, which allowed her to infuse herself with the power of the sun up to four times to imbue her attacks with extra hits, range and follow-up options. Sun Shot meanwhile sees Ingrid unleashing a ball of light in front of her, which briefly pauses before flying at different angles or speeds depending on what button you press and how long it’s held down. The Sun Flare sees Ingrid shooting a beam of light forward in heavy and light variations.
Other attacks include Solar Burst, which is a downward beam of light that Ingrid fires diagonally while airborne. The light version stores a Sun Crest while other variations use Crests to amplify their properties. Another attack up Ingrid’s sleeve is Sun Rise, which is a spinning attack featuring light, medium and heavy variants that can lead to powerful combo opportunities.
Finally, Ingrid’s Level 1 Super Art Sun is known as Shining Sun, which sees her attacking with a flurry of magical kicks, while her Level 2 Super Art, Order of the Sun, has her unleashing a beacon of light into the sky before showering her foes with solar powered rain depending on the button pressed.
Ingrid launches for Street Fighter 6 on May 28.
