Injustice 2 roster gets Scarecrow, voiced by Robert Englund – rumor

According to a listing on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), Batman villain Scarecrow is the latest character to join the Injustice 2 roster for the upcoming crossover fighting game sequel.

While nothing official has been confirmed by publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment at this point, the IMDB listing reveals that Scarecrow will be voiced by legendary horror movie icon, Robert Englund.

Injustice 2 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on May 16, 2017. The game introduces a new mechanic in the shape of the Gear System, which drops loot such as costume pieces and equipment that can be nabbed to customise your character’s appearance and tweak their abilities and stats.

Injustice 2’s narrative picks up around five years after the events of its predecessor, and sees Batman attempting to restore society following Superman’s failed regime. However, The Dark Knight’s job is complicated by the arrival of new super villain outfit The Society, plus the alien Brainiac.

Other characters on the Injustice 2 roster include: Aquaman, Black Adam, Catwoman, Deadshot, Firestorm, Green Arrow, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Robin, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman.
