Warner Bros. Games is reportedly turning its attention to Injustice 3 now that Mortal Kombat 1 support has seemingly wrapped, not to mention the fact MultiVersus wasn’t the success the studio had hoped for. That’s at least according to well-known data miner MultiverSusie, who has strongly hinted that a new Injustice is on the way.
“multiversus shutting down is an injustice, then doing it all again is another injustice, leaving me without any leaks is yet again another injustice,” the wrote on X. Obviously this should be taken with a healthy dose of salt, but a new Injustice has been a long time coming, and NetherRealm’s Ed Boon has publicly stated that a third entry in the superhero franchise has not been ruled out.

Injustice: Gods Among Us was originally released in April 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, with Injustice 2 arriving in May 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. NetherRealm’s latest effort was Mortal Kombat 1, which came out in September 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
