Actress Tati Gabrielle, who portrays the lead role in Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, has commented briefly during a chat with IGN that the upcoming sci-fi adventurer represents a ‘different side’ for the Sony-owned studio, particularly when it comes to world building.
When asked whether she had seen anything on the project lately, Gabrielle confirmed that she had, but wasn’t able to give too much away. However, she had the following to share:
I think that it’s such a different side of Naughty Dog, that I think people are going to get really excited for, it seems that they’ve even challenged themselves in ways of world building. That’s all I’m going to say, but I’m super stoked.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was announced during The Game Awards 2024, and is reportedly set to arrive exclusively for PS5 in 2027.
Earlier this year, ex-Blizzard cinematic director Jason Hill confirmed that he had joined Naughty Dog to work on the upcoming title, where he’ll serve as a cinematic supervisor. Tony Dalton was cast in the project in May 2025, after impressing Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann with his work on HBO’s The Last of Us series.
