Reports are flooding in that the PlayStation Network is down for many in the United States and Canada. The official PlayStation Store also appears to be inaccessible via UK browsers at this point. We’ve tested the network in the UK and it appears to be running as normal.
Sony does have maintenance scheduled for June 27, but no work is supposed to be carried out on the PSN today.
The official PlayStation Network service status page states that all services are online, but we’re getting reports on social media, forums and via the PSN down detector that it’s currently offline.
We’ve reached out to Sony for an update. In the meantime, let us know if you’ve been experiencing server issues.
