Itagaki-san explains Devil’s Third TGS no-show

Devil’s Third designer Tomonobu Itagaki has spilled the beans as to why his upcoming actioner failed to show up at the Tokyo Game Show last week.

The outspoken Ninja Gaiden creator previously mentioned plans to show the game off at the Tokyo-based bash just a few months back, though this ultimately failed to materialise.

However, speaking to Japanese publication Famitsu (via Andriasang), Itagaki-san revealed that it was decided the game was “too early” to show off, but assured Devil’s Third hasn’t been delayed.

"Itagaki admitted that he’d promised during E3 an update on Devil’s Third at TGS. However, during meetings with THQ earlier this month, they determined that it was too early to show the game. The game is not delayed, though."

Devil’s Third is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
