Egg Ball Games has taken to the EU PlayStation Blog to lift the lid on Jazz: Trump’s Journey, a new downloadable PlayStation Vita game co-produced with Bulkypix.
The game plonks you in the dreams of jazz musician Trump, where you’ll witness various events throughout his life, from forming a group, his crush on Lady Poppy to his battle against injustice in early 20th century New Orleans.
Trump actually parallels the real story of the legendary Louis Armstrong, and it’s this narrative that Egg Ball feels is the strongest aspect of the game. A platformer by trade, Trump seeks to immerse players with its vibrant, old-school universe and jazz-oriented soundtrack, which has been recorded with a full orchestra.
Jazz: Trumpy’s Journey is scheduled for release on PS Vita by the end of 2012, though a firm release date has yet to be announced.
