Jobe Dylan, the Producer of Incognito Entertainment’s successful multiplayer title Warhawk, has revealed plans to release further content for the game in the form of a new booster pack and game modes.
Speaking at the Game Developers Conference this week, Dylan discussed the contents of Operation Broken Mirror – a new booster pack, which will feature a selection of new vehicles and a new battlefield.
Dylan let slip that among the new vehicles included in the pack would be an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), which acts as a mobile spawn point and supply depot.
Regarding new game modes, Dylan announced that they would be separate from booster packs, instead making up part of any future patch releases. Finally, he also touched base on the possibility of a single-player update for Warhawk, commenting:
“If we look at doing single-player in the future [it would be] related to a new product.”
Nonetheless, Dylan did hint at the possibility of adding to the franchise beyond its current incarnation on PS3, stating, "If there is an opportunity that presents itself for us to further the franchise then we’ll definitely take advantage of it."
