This is one you can certainly chalk up under the ‘unexpected’ category. Developed by Archiact, the same talented folks that brought us the underrated DOOM VFR among other titles, Journey To Foundation is a first-person, spy focused PSVR2 title that whisks players off into the massive, sprawling universe of Foundation, one of Isaac Asimov’s most revered science fiction novels.
No doubt encouraged by the recent release of the Foundation TV show on Apple TV Plus, Journey to Foundation appears to be an all-new tale set in that universe where players can choose to side with a 30,000 year long genetic dynasty of rulers, or face off against them as their downfall has been predicted by the titular rebel group, the Foundation.
Looking to combine a mixture of non-linear storytelling with stealth and first-person shooter beats, Journey to Foundation is certainly shaping up to be something of a unique prospect to say the least.
