The ongoing tussle between FIFA and PES gets a shot in the arm as the top-down football game Dino Dini’s Kick Off Revival will release on PS4 in June and on PS Vita later in 2016. A long-awaited return for the series, having been away for nearly fifteen years.
The game is supposedly out June 17 if retailers are to be believed, but there’s been no official word on an exact date. It should be priced at a reasonable £14.99
The first game in the series since Kick Off 2002 on PC, Kick Off Revival will look to offer gameplay that is as easy to learn as it is difficult to master, really getting that throwback vibe down. You can find out more in the latest developer diary video below.
I adore PES, but I’m fully open to more football (soccer for you heathens out there) games on the market, especially ones that evoke a little nostalgia. So here’s hoping Kick Off Revival is a champion title. I doubt I’ll be quite as excited as this man though…
