Killzone 3 rumors emerge once again

According to the folks at Eurogamer.de (via VG247), Guerrilla Games’ Jan-Bart Van Beek recently let slip on a Dutch TV that the firm is working on a successor to Killzone 2 and is targeting a 2011 release for the project.

Van Beek apparently claimed that the game might be released in 2010, though added there is no pressure from Sony Europe to have the sequel on store shelves for next year.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors of Killzone 3’s existence, either. Just last month, word reached the Internet that OPM US confirmed the game’s development alongside heavyweights Resistance 3 and a sequel to Call of Duty: World at War.

Obviously, we advise our readers to take this with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available to us.
