Killzone: Mercenary to get PS Vita TV support, new maps and Botzone mode

Killzone Mercenary, the PlayStation Vita-exclusive shooter, is about to get quite a bit better through impending game updates.

On the PlayStation Blog, Guerilla Cambridge has detailed the updates that the game will receive over the coming months. These include two new maps that will be free of charge, offline Botzone mode so you can play the multiplayer maps on your own against some bots, and PS Vita TV support. The final point hints that the PS Vita TV console will be releasing outside of Japan, which isn’t a surprise really. There are no details about the two new maps except a picture for each one. They look to be maps like Tharsis Depot and Blood Gracht from Killzone 2:

This kind of support is great for any game and should be applauded. The new maps and mode as well as PS Vita TV support will hit in future updates next year.
