Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was first meant launch sometime this year, but before developer Warhorse provided a release date, it revealed that the highly-anticipated RPG sequel will not be making it out this year.
It was then pushed to February 11, 2025, but announced on Wednesday, the game has officially gone gold, and the release date has actually been moved up a whole week. It’ll now launch on February 4, 2025.
Not only that, it was officially revealed as a PS5 Pro Enhanced title, and details on what that’ll mean along with the game’s PC specs will arrive tomorrow.
Announced in a short video posted from the studios official Twitter account, the studio also revealed that a new story trailer will be showcased tomorrow during the PC Gaming 2024 Showcase, first as a tease during the show and then the whole trailer following the showcase.
It’s exciting news for one of the most anticipated titles for 2025. Even with the controversy, the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance showed that there’s an audience for the kind of medieval RPG the game offered.
We’ve been seeing plenty of gameplay for the title recently with different aspects of the game being featured, and it’s all very exciting but of course we won’t really know how it all comes together until it arrives next year.
Hopefully it lives up to expectations.
