Developed by War Horse Studios, the Kickstarter-funded Kingdom Come: Deliverance is one of those titles that as somewhat flown under the radar at this year’s E3, which isn’t a surprise when you have the likes of God of War and Detroit flexing their AAA-sized muscles in your face all week.
Nonetheless, PSU managed to get some hands-on time with the game, which takes the form of medieval action-RPG set in Bohemia (now known as Czech Republic) in the year 1403. Think Elder Scrolls’ first-person combat married with a grounded realism pays as much attention to historical accuracy as it does gameplay, and you have a good idea of what to expect.
With a release not due until 2017, the game is still in the early days of development, although from our time with Kingdom Come, it’s certainly piqued our interest. Check out our impressions below.
