Kingdom Hearts III will feature a world based on the Big Hero 6, Disney Interactive announced during the D23 Expo 2015 over the weekend.
As reported by KH13, the scenario involving Big Hero 6 will take place after the events of the movie, and sees Heartless taking over the Baymax left inside of the portal at the film’s climax.
Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a release date yet to be announced. However, Square Enix has confirmed a number of details on the hotly anticipated Disney-RPG, including the fact it won’t have any QTEs.
The game will offer a seamless world to explore with minimal loading times, and various new keyblade transformations. Finally, while a release date has yet to be confirmed, Tetsuya Nomura has admitted he knows the date—he’s just not telling.
Expect more details to drop at the Tokyo Game Show 2015 next month.
