The Knuckles TV series has scored the best opening weekend of any Paramount+ original series to date following its launch on April 26, 2024.
Paramount revealed that the series set a new global record as “the most-watched Paramount+ original series of all time.” More than four million hours were streamed over the course of Knuckles’ first three days, making it the most-watched Paramount+ ‘kids-and-family’ title ever.

The Sonic the Hedgehog fans came out in full-force. We’re so thrilled with the record-breaking performance of Knuckles and the incredible lift the whole Sonic universe has experienced following Knuckles’ premiere.
Knuckles takes place between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming third move, and sees the titular Echidna warrior adjusting to life on Earth. Along the way, he takes on Sheriff Wade Whipper as his apprentice to train him in the ways of his people ahead of a bowling tournament.
