Kojima Productions hiring for next-gen MGS

Solid Snake may have puffed his last cigarette back in MGS4, but it seems creator Hideo Kojima’s not about ready to retire the franchise just yet – his studio’s just announced it’s seeking staff to work on the “next generation Metal Gear Solid series”.

As spotted by Andriasang, the job listing calls for a heap of fresh faces, including general planners, level designers, scripters and more. Fluent in Japanese? Then why not sign up here.

Quite what Kojima-san has up his sleeves next is anyone’s guess, though over the past year we’ve heard rumblings of Zone of the Enders 3, a mysterious “taboo” project, and – shock, horror – Metal Gear Solid 5.

Regardless, the famed developer is keen to lift the lid on the new title at some point this year, having previously mused over the idea of prepping a reveal for TGS in September.

In the mean time, Kojima Productions is busy chiselling away on the gory slash ’em up Metal Gear Solid: Rising for PS3, PC and 360.
