Konami announced today that a new Vandal Hearts game is in development for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
On the continent of Sostegaria, two rival kingdoms stand on the verge of war. In the heat of battle, young orphan Tobias Martin is forced to defend his homeland and join his comrades in the fight to avenge those fallen and for future peace. All is not as it seems, however, as a far deadlier threat is upon them.
Scheduled for release in September, Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment is a prequel to the original game, which was released on the Sega Saturn and PlayStation in 1996.
