Konami’s narrowed down a release date for its upcoming Silent Hill: HD Collection, pencilling in the bundle for a September/October launch.
The PlayStation 3-exclusive pack includes horror classics Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, complete with remastered 720p visuals, PlayStation Network Trophy support plus fresh voice overs.
Silent Hill 2 originally released on PlayStation 2 back in 2001, and focuses on the exploits of James Sunderland, who receives a letter from his deceased wife requesting him to travel to the eponymous town to meet her in their ‘special place.’
Meanwhile, 2003’s Silent Hill 3 has players hopping into teen heroine Heather Mason’s boots, where a regular day at the local mall quickly descends into a blood-drenched nightmare packed with grotesque beasts and twisted individuals.
