Treyarch’s Mark Lamia has described how the company has taken some “creative risks” with its latest Call of Duty title, Black Ops, in hopes to differentiate it from the studio’s previous works in the series.
Chatting with OXM, Lamia stated, "We’ve taken some creative risks,” adding, "We want to do something different than we’ve done before. We want the game to speak for itself."
From the look of things this definitely seems to be the case, with Black Ops being totally disparate from World at War in terms of setting, with the action taking place behind enemy lines during the Cold War. As for gameplay, we’re still in the dark as to what new features will be present, though it shouldn’t be long until we find out with E3 just around the corner.
