Lara Croft: Reflections has been trademarked for Europe, marking the second time mystery project – thought to be a comic book – has appeared this year.
This latest filing was spotted by Junkie Monkeys, and follows on from the previous North American trademark earlier this year.
Speculation has pointed to possible single-player DLC for this year’s Tomb Raider reboot, though series global brand director, Karl Stewart, indicated only multiplayer content was planned.
As such, it is more than likely Reflections pertains to the upcoming Tomb Raider comic due next year. Developer Crystal Dynamics previously confirmed that the comic would “lead directly” into the next chapter in the Tomb Raider video game franchise.
Publisher Square Enix said yesterday that fans should keep an eye out for announcements regarding Tomb Raider at the VGX Awards next month. Most likely, this will be confirmation on the rumored PlayStation 4 and Xbox One reboot port.
