TT Games and Warner Bros. Games have announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will launch oh May 22, 2026, slightly earlier than originally planned. The game will initially be released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving later in the year.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is in development for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S, and features a heap of iconic characters plucked from the character’s illustrious history, including Jim Gordon, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, Joker, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Bane, and more. However, only seven characters are playable in the game, which is unlike previous LEGO games that give you literally hundreds to command.
TT Games has described LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight as a “love letter to the world of Batman,” and combines elements from various Batman offerings including film, TV, comics, and video game while weaving an original narrative. Players will be able to explore an open-world LEGO version of Gotham City, taking part in various missions and duffing up bad guys.
