Dontnod Entertainment has announced that Life is Strange Episode 5: Polarized is due out in late October.
Writing on publisher Square Enix’s blog, the game’s producer said that development on the hotly anticipated episode is nearing completion, and that the studio is hoping the game will be out on October 20.
Things are subject to change, but for now, it’s looking like we’ll be able to see the conclusion to Max Caulfield’s epic journey just in time for Halloween.
"Your tweets, comments and messages have kept us going through this busy stage of development and we can’t thank you enough for your continued support," said the studio.
"We are super excited for you to play the finale and we hope you enjoy the ride! We couldn’t have foreseen the great reaction Life is Strange has had so far, the community is fantastic and we love seeing/reading your reactions to each episode."
Life is Strange focuses on the exploits of Maxine Caulfield, a college student who discovers she has the power to rewind time. Alongside her best friend Chloe, Caulfield must utilize her powers to uncover the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student and stop an impending disaster from wiping out town.
