Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth has received a new trailer from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which shines the spotlight on the game’s Happy Resort DonDoko Island mini-game.
DonDoko Island is an Animal Crossing-style activity where players can take a load off from the main story and go fishing, craft furniture, and custom their home. According to RGG Studio’s Hiroyuki Sakamoto, DonDoko is separate to the main storyline and will be unlocked after a specific point in the campaign is reached.
Sakamoto-san also revealed that players can look forward to a bunch of other mini-games in Infinite Wealth:
There will be a ton of minigames that I wouldn’t be able to list them all here but there’s an exciting minigame called Crazy Delivery, Sujimon Battle where you collect enemies and battle them and a dating app where you chat to find a match.
Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth is due out on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on January 26, 2024.
