It’s taken almost a year, but Sony is finally releasing a limited-edition variation of the PlayStation 4 Pro.
Similar to the original Destiny bundle that included a white PlayStation 4 in 2014, this year’s Destiny 2 will be available as part of a bundle including a copy of the game and a ‘Glacier White’ PlayStation 4 Pro, which comes fitted with a 1TB HDD. The Destiny 2 bundle also includes a digital content pack, granting access to the Expansion Pass and premium digital content. PlayStation 4 owners will also be in receipt of exclusive content, just as was the case with previous instalments of the space shooter franchise.
Reflecting on the comments made by PlayStation Europe’s Jim Ryan shortly after this year’s E3, regarding their expectation to sell ‘a lot’ of PlayStation 4 Pro consoles, it would seem that this bundle will certainly be popular with gamers.
The PlayStation 4 Pro bundle goes on sale on September 6 this year for $449 USD/$549.99 CAN.
And remember, if you’re still not set on Destiny 2, PlayStation 4 owners will be getting exclusive early access to the beta starting on July 18th.
