Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back is officially in the works for PS5 and set to launch in 2027, Dragami Games, Nada Holdings, and JP Universe have announced. As previously reported, the game is playable at the Tokyo Game Show from September 17 — 21, 2026 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Final Fantasy XV Game Director, Hajime Tabata, and Lollipop Chainsaw co-producer and scenario writer Masahiro Yuki are confirmed to be involved in the sequel. Furthermore, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is currently on sale for up to 45% off the usual asking price on digital storefronts, although PS5, PS4, Switch 2, and Switch versions of the game are being discounted at a later date.
