The new logo above revises the original and also symbolises the new setting for the game, which is now dark fantasy. A press release for the game confirmed the details and also announced that a revised combat system will be implemented, replacing the first game’s slow and clunky experience.
In a press release, CI Games’ CEO Marek Tymiński offered a quote on the franchise and the new future for it with Lords of the Fallen 2:
“Lords of the Fallen 2 is our largest project in terms of the whole of CI Games,” Marek says. “The previous game was a full priced, full featured release and we’re approaching the next one with an even larger scope. The sequel will move the franchise to dark fantasy and will offer a revised and challenging combat system.”
Tymiński also revealed that the game will be full-priced and that the scope for the sequel has increased a lot from the original AA target. Hexworks is the team behind this sequel and was set up specifically for the development of this game, with that development starting last year.
Lords Of The Fallen 2 is set to release for PS5.
