Loretta, a 2D psychological thriller developed by Yakov Butuzov, is launching on April 11, 2024 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, publisher DAGEN Entertainment has announced.
Loretta focuses on the game’s eponymous housewife and her husband, Walter, who find themselves pulled from 1940s New York to a dilapidated farmhouse in the rural south, where they struggle to make ends meet. Their relationship is soon strained, resulted in Walter turning to infidelity and concocting a lucrative life insurance policy in his name.

Players now find themselves an accessory to Loretta’s crimes as she formulates a grisly plan, recovering from her loved one’s betrayal, dealing with noisy neighbours and deciding how her story should end. Loretta offers branching story paths and multiple ending as you decide the protagonist’s fate, meeting a diverse cast of characters along the way and overcome cryptic puzzles.
Loretta plucks much of its inspiration from film noir, and doffs its cap to various horror legends including Andrew Wyeth, Stephen King, Vladimir Nabokov, and Alfred Hitchcock.
DAGEN Entertainment will publish Loretta for PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on April 11, 2024.
