DON’T NOD has announced at GamesCom 2024 that Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be released in two parts, with Tape 1 launching February 18, 2024 followed by Tape 2 on March 18.
The news was accompanied by a first-look gameplay trailer for the upcoming teen drama, which you can see below. The trailer is pretty dialogue heavy and establishes the basic narrative while teasing some playable sequences, although it doesn’t really give much away.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is set in the fictional town of Velvet Cover, Michigan, and focuses on a group of four ex-friends — Nora, Autumn, Kat, and Swann, who reunite after 27 years. After previously experiencing a journey of self-discovery in the summer of 1995 as high school friends, the group are reunited after no contact for nearly three decades, as fate brings them together to confront a long-buried secret.
Unlike previous narrative-driven titles from DON’T NOD, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage focuses on a single protagonist, with creative director, Michel Koch, stating this is because it having multiple characters may result in a disconnect ‘”from what’s happening on screen.”
