The release date for Lost Soul Aside has been booted out of it May 30, 2025 slot to August 29, Ultizero Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced.
Speaking on the delay, Yang Bing, CEO of Ultizero Games and Game Director on Lost Soul Aside, commented:
We are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside. We remain committed to delivering a high-quality game experience. To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game. Lost Soul Aside will now release on August 29, 2025. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch.

Lost Soul Aside is best described as the love child between Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, with main character Kazer giving off strong Noctis vibes in particular. The sword-based combat is fast and frantic – and obvious nod to Capcom’s hack-‘n-slash franchise – and sees you going up against legions of files while pulling of stylish combos along the way.
Following the delay, Lost Soul Aside will now ship for PS5 and PC on August 29.
