The Official PlayStation 3 YouTube channel has confirmed that UK movie rental phenomenon LOVEFiLM will be hitting Sony’s flagship home console in November.
Accessible via the XMB, the service will allow gamers to stream “thousands of movies” from their PS3 ranging from blockbuster Hollywood flicks to numerous Indie offerings from a variety of genres. Existing customers will also be able to manage their Blu-ray and DVD rental list.
To date, the only rental service to hit Sony’s console has been the US-based Netflix, which is also available on Xbox 360 and Wii.
