Luna Abyss Is A New Narrative-Driven, Bullet-Hell Action Game Coming To PlayStation Formats

Luna Abyss, a new narrative-driven action game with bullet-hell combat, is winging its way to PlayStation, PC, and Xbox, Bonsai Collective has announced.

The press blurb hasn’t announced specific platforms yet and we don’t have a release date currently, but there’s plenty of info to dive into.

Luna Abyss casts players as a prisoner sentenced to exploring a derelict megastructure located deep beneath the surface of the mimic moon, Luna. Tasked with salvaging forgotten technology from the Abyss and a lost colony, your progress is scrutinised by your artificial prison guard, Alyin.

These centuries-old ruins are alive with maddening echoes, insinuating secrets of the once prosperous city of Greymont and its terrible fate. The Scourge. The tenets of the All-Father. The choir of the Collective. The voices of the Abyss call to you; they whisper strange missives…

Along the way you’ll survive deadly encounters with corrupted souls and cosmic horrors, giving the opportunity to let loose with your weapons in adrenaline-pumping bullet-hell combat. You’ll also traverse locations with fluid platforming segments as you explore Luna and unearth its deadly secrets.
