Shigenori Nishikawa, director of controversial Wii outing MadWorld, has revealed his intention to jump ship from Platinum Games and join forces with Resident Evil mastermind Shinji Mikami at TANGO.

Mikami unveiled plans to form a new studio earlier this year, stating, "One of the reasons I’m building a company is to raise the game makers of the future, people who haven’t gone pro yet.”

MadWorld wasn’t half bad as it happens, so the fact Nishikawa has decided to join Mikami’s new studio can only be a good thing. Needless to say, we’re excited to see what TANGO eventually comes up with.

Stay tuned.
