Bungie has announced that Marathon will launch for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on March 5, 2026, confirming previous reports that originated from a leaked trailer on the Xbox Store.
The former Halo developer also confirmed that preorders are now live and you can watch a new trailer below.
In addition, Bungie revealed the various versions of Marathon that you can pick up, including the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition.
First off, the Marathon Standard Edition features the game, access to all updates throughout the year, plus if you pre-order you will gain access to the following: ZERO STEP 004 CE Tactical Sidearm Style, ZERO STEP RC Weapon Charm, ZERO STEP SHIFT Weapon Sticker, APOGEE INTERCEPT Background, APOGEE INTERCEPT Emblem.
The Marathon Deluxe Edition features everything seen above, plus a Premium Rewards Pass Voucher, 200 SILK Rewards Pass Tokens, the MIDNIGHT DECAY Misriah 2442 Pump Shotgun Style and MIDNIGHT DECAY Overrun AR Style weapon cosmetics, plus the following Runner Shell Cosmetics: MIDNIGHT DECAY Vandal Shell Style, MIDNIGHT DECAY Destroyer Shell Style, MIDNIGHT DECAY Assassin Shell Style, MIDNIGHT DECAY Thief Shell Style.
Finally, the Marathon Collector’s Edition adds a premium unboxing experience inspired by Sekiguchi Genetics’ shell-weaving process, plus a 1/6-scale Their Runner Shell statue, collectively miniature WEAVEworm, embroidered patch, postcards, digital rewards, and more.
