Tribute Games has revealed that Marvel Cosmic Invasion will be adding two new playable characters and a fresh game mode in the form of The Siege of Castle Doom, launching on PC and consoles this fall.
Aside from those details above, the only thing we know is that the premium DLC will — of course — feature Doctor DOOM, who of course is set to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in December with Avengers: Doomsday. The DLC will be available for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion sees the galaxy suffering an unprecedented attack by the immortal super villain, Annihilus. To combat this threat, fighters from Earth and the cosmos alike band together to battle against the fearsome Annihilation Wave, with players able to select from 17 Super Heroes, using the Cosmic Swap feature to tag between duos mid-fight to mix and match abilities. It’s down to you to thwart Annihilus’ scheme of spreading death across the cosmos, who is aided in his plans by the all-powerful Thanos, M.O.D.O.K., and Taskmaster.
