Marvel Rivals is launching its first-ever PvE offering Zombie Mode on October 23, 2025, NetEase Games has announced.
Danny Koo, Executive Producer at Marvel Games, commented:
In this Marvel Zombies-inspired mode, you get to play as Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff, and The Punisher, taking on endless waves of zombies. You’ll have to survive the horde, go toe-to-toe with Zombie Namor and The Queen of the Dead as bosses, and fight to save the world from getting totally zombified.

We also given each hero some unique abilities: Charge through the hordes as Jeff, slice and dice with Blade’s bouncing Moon Blades, shock zombies with Thor in his persistent Awakened state, or go berserk as Magik in her unlimited Darkchild form! Showcase your epic combat skills against the zombie swarms and tough bosses.
Marvel Rivals was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in December 2024, and NetEase confirmed earlier this year that it has reached 40 million players worldwide. The game launched with a roster of over 35 iconic characters from the comics, including Captain America, Black Panther, Adam Warlock, Groot, Iron Man, Moon Knight, The Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, and Wolverine among others.
