Capcom’s announced that retro brawler Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will be up for download in the U.S. on September 25 for PlayStation Network, and on Xbox LIVE Arcade the following day.
European PSN owners get the game on September 26. The beat-‘em-up will set you back $14.99 on Sony’s online service and 1200 Microsoft Points via XBLA.
Combining two classic 90s titles – namely Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes – Origins offers arcade-perfect conversions of these fan-favorite fighters while adding a host of extra content.
Fans and newcomers alike can look forward to the addition of GGPO-enhanced online play, featuring eight-player lobbies and a spectator mode. Furthermore, the visuals have been polished up, and Capcom’s also added dynamic challenges and replay saving.
