It’s no secret that Marvel’s Avengers hasn’t exactly set the the world on fire, and publisher Square Enix is only too well aware of this. In an effort to save the project, the company has said it will provide a boatload of additional content to keep things ticking over.
Square Enix Reveals Plans To Save Marvel’s Avengers
Speaking during the firm’s latest financial report, Square Enix boss Yosuke Matsuda outlined a clear strategy to combat sluggish sales, revealing that it plans “to make up for slow initial sales by offering ample additional content.”
We already know that the character of Kate Bishop will be part of this DLC offering, and she’ll arrive on December 8, so there’s not long to wait. There’s also the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version of Marvel’s Avengers arriving next year.
