Insomniac Games has released a new update for Marvel’s Wolverine that adds an option to allow players to completely turn off the controversial sense trail mechanic for collectibles. However, it’s worth noting that sense critical to the story will still appear, such as missions Red and The One That Got Away. Beyond that, the update also fixes a number of crashes and removes a bug where the player could become stuck while sliding down a tree during the mission The One That Got Away. - Senses toggles have been added under Settings -> Gameplay -> Senses. These allow you to toggle:
- Whisky Bottle Scent Trails.
- Material Crate Audio Clues.
- Nightmare Door Roots.
- Note that the Whisky Finder and Crate Finder Adaptations will override the applicable settings. As well, story-critical senses will still appear in the world, such as for “Red” during “The One That Got Away”.
- Addresses several crashes identified through crash logs & the community.
- Fixes an issue where players could become stuck while sliding down tree in the “The One That Got Away” mission.
- Addresses issues with misaligned claws in Photo Mode.
- Fixes rare issue where objects may turn white after extended play sessions.
- Fixes overlapping bathroom sign in the casino.
