Insomniac Games‘ James Stevenson has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features the same face model and actress for Mary Jane, after fans questioned if she had been changed following new screenshots of the character at San Diego Comic-Con.
While it’s obvious that MJ is sporting something of a makeover — her hairstyle is noticeable different compared to her appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man — nothing else has been changed for the character. Visually the game looks far more impressive than its predecessor, as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales are sporting improved character models.
