BioWare’s Yanick Roy has revealed that Mass Effect 4 is roughly in the middle stages of development.
Speaking on Twitter (via NeoGAF) in reply to a fan enquiring how far the title has progressed, Roy replied:
“Too late for one, too early for the other…So I guess we’re somewhere in the middle? :-)”
Mass Effect 4 has been confirmed to be in the works for over a year now, though at this stage we’re still none the wiser as to whether it will be a prequel or sequel to Commander Shepard’s exploits from the original trilogy.
BioWare has teased a few details though, and confirmed that Shepard will not be in the game. Hopefully we’ll see something at E3, but that remains to be seen.
Stay tuned.
