Electronic Arts and BioWare have announced that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch on May 14 for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
The game offers all three Mass Effect games complete with accompanying DLC, which consists of over 40 content packs. As expected, each title will feature enhanced visuals, such as new character models, shades, and lighting effects.
It’s worth noting that there is no dedicated PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game, although there will be some enhancements for when you play the game on those formats. Still, Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now slouch, with BioWare confirming 4K resolution, HDR and 60 FPS.
The Mass Effect 1 remaster featured in the collection all also receive a number of substantial tweaks, including updated UI, improved camera and aiming, plus revamped controls for the Mako. BioWare used AI upscaling to overhaul the game’s outdated textures.
