Max Payne 3’s five DLC packs become three

Rockstar has announced that it has trimmed its DLC schedule for Max Payne 3 by consolidating goodies from its planned five packs into three larger offerings.

Post-launch support for the bullet-time blaster begins this month with the release of the free Disorganized Crime Pack.

Here, gamers will be able to take part in heated gun battles in the new Hoboken Rooftops multipayer map, which is set above Max Payne’s old apartment. In addition, the DLC also throws in new modifies for the Score Attack in Arcade Mode, such as Explosive Rounds, Lone Wolf AI and Headshots Only.

As for the rest of the DLC, content from the New York Minute Co-Op Pack and Trickle Down Economics Map Pack have now been spread across the following releases:

Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]

Painful Memories Map Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]

Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October [800 Microsoft Points (Xbox LIVE) or $9.99 (PlayStation Network and PC)]
