Media Molecule Job Listing Reveals Its Next Game Is A New IP

Dreams developer Media Molecule has revealed in a job listing that its next project will be a new IP, having previously confirmed that it would not be a sequel to an existing franchise.

The job opening is for a Principle Art Director and among the list of key responsibilities reveals that the successful candidate will “champion technical requirements and standards for Mm’s new IP.”

Media Molecule confirmed last month that it had suffered layoffs in its Curation team, but it had no plans to take Dreams offline. This follows a previous round of layoffs in October 2023, during a year that saw a thousands of people in the industry losing their jobs.
